 Active Birth Preparation workshop: Module 1 Connecting with your support partner through partner yoga and massage.  Learn active birthing positions for optimal labour and breathing, meditation and massage techniques to ease labour pain and to relax and centre the mother.  The benefits of this practice is feeling more consciously connected and present with your birth partner or support person; learning and practicing ways that they can support you during birth; harnessing an empowered mindset and attitude of gratitude and wonder, about the magic of pregnancy and birth; connect with and empower your inner birthing wisdom.

and BONUS: Outdoor yoga in nature sequence. A flow that can be practised outdoors or whenever you are standing/walking and want to stretch, breathe and centre yourself, lengthen and ease the spine and lower back and open up to the beauty and prana (life-force energy) of nature around you.

 

Note: You don't need to do these practices as a couple! Although it's a beautiful way to develop a conscious connection with your partner. The partner practices can be done with your romantic partner or with any other birth support person, male or female. Although the instructions refer to “man” and “woman”; just substitute this with “Supporter” and “Mother”. Enjoy!
